First experience with LMB 2.0 coming from LMB 1.0

Having quite a lot of experience with the LMB 1.0 light kits, I have to say I was very impressed with the LMB 2.0. It allows for a much cleaner look and I dare say easier cable management. All of the bricks are made in-house, and I do not think any of them are original LEGO pieces. I say this because the transparent round plates have a special groove on them to route the cable through, something that I think is a very good idea and helps with the installation. Other pieces actually have "LMB" on them instead of "LEGO", but the quality looks and feels great!

As for the final result? I really like it, although I think the pink lights are a bit overwhelming and stands out too much. I would personally prefer a more neutral look. Maybe having warm white lights instead of pink? Another idea that springs into mind would be to have an LMB component where you can adjust the brightness of the lights? A dimmer component already exists for LMB 1.0, and once it arrives for LMB 2.0 I will definitely place a new order for that!

LEGO Orchid

The build was very fiddly , originally bought for my partner I ended up having install it . Took me quite a while to follow the 'install after build' guide - 125 pages long.

Beware it's fiddly to build but looks awesome and will be much easier a second time now understanding how the kit works.
