Very Christmassy!!

This was our second go at a version 2.0 light kit... really like the way to cables connect, much easier than 1.0 and the cables lie flat between Lego tiles much better as well, although the flat cables do make cable management (and hiding the cables) a little harder. This looks terrific, especially love the hot air balloon fire light :-) A fantastic addition to the Winter Village collection.

Looks great with one issue

Looks great but new 2.0 instructions do a poor job at explaining how to hide cables during installation. Old light kit instructions were better IMO.

First Experience with LMB 2.0

This was my first time using the LMB 2.0 parts and what a difference! This was such an easy disassembly and rebuild with the thinner wires and the overall look and layout for this set turned out great! The only criticism I have is by connecting the letter sorter the way it is; there is no way to place it in front of the build, and it has to be in the back, just for awareness.

Good job!

LMB 2.0 components are much easier to connect than the previous ones. Each cable has a type tag — written in a very small font — indicating its use. The tag has to be removed prior to installation. Removal takes some force because the tag's material is rather resilient; however, the cables seem sturdy enough. All cables are flat and fit well into the seams between the LEGO® pieces. Most cables are hidden from view.

The after-building instructions use 3D Bricklink-Studio-style drawings and are easy to follow. The markup for parts affected by a step could be a bit more prominent but it is usually clear what has to be done.

I didn't need customer service; therefore, I rate it '3'.
